Come and support COMMOTION students and NZ music legend artist/tutors taking to the NCMA auditorium stage and wowing you with their music. Last year people were blown away by the talent of the acts who performed at the showcase.

2023 featured performances from artist/tutors Rei, Tali, Mazbou Q and Huia Hamon, along with talented youth acts including Georgie Levien, JOLA BURNS, Malaika Hollis, Florence McNabb, Lucy Summerfield, Imani-J, Parallel Park, and more.

Ticket sales for the showcase event help offset the cost of the wider COMMOTION event.

Adults: $20 + bf
Youth: $10 + bf (high school students and younger)

Location
NCMA 48 Nile Street. Parking is available at the NMIT carpark on Nile Street.

How it works
Student attendees are offered the opportunity to perform and can do so as a solo, duo or band. We work with students who indicate they are interested in performing, to ensure they feel prepared and supported.
